Directions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Steak: Season steaks generously with salt and black pepper. Heat a large skillet over high heat and add olive oil. Sear steaks for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, add butter, crushed garlic, and herbs. Baste the steak with melted butter for extra flavor. Remove steak from pan and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly.
  3. Cook the Shrimp: Season shrimp with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In the same pan, add olive oil or butter and cook shrimp for 1½–2 minutes per side until golden and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Make the Garlic Butter Pasta: Lower heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until fragrant. Pour in reserved pasta water and stir to create a light, glossy sauce. Toss in the cooked pasta, spinach, roasted red peppers, and Parmesan. Cook briefly until spinach wilts and pasta is coated evenly.
  5. Assemble the Dish: Plate the pasta first, then top with shrimp and sliced steak. Garnish with fresh parsley, chili flakes, and an extra drizzle of butter if desired. Serve immediately for maximum flavor and freshness.
