Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp (42 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced (about 12 g / 0.4 oz)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup (55 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp (3 g) fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish and arrange the shrimp in a single layer.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, heavy cream, Parmesan, mozzarella, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the creamy garlic sauce evenly over the shrimp, making sure each piece is well coated.
  4. Bake uncovered for 12–15 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink and the sauce is bubbling around the edges.
  5. For a golden cheesy top, switch the oven to broil and cook for 1–2 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
  6. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives, and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
