Directions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp Patties
    • Take ⅔ of the shrimp and chop finely until almost paste-like. Chop the remaining ⅓ into small chunks for texture.
    • In a bowl, mix chopped shrimp, garlic, lemon juice, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper.
    • Form the mixture into firm patties.
  2. Cook the Patties
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. The outside should be crisp while the inside remains juicy.
  3. Make the Guacamole
    • Mash the avocado in a bowl until smooth.
    • Add lime juice, red onion, cilantro or parsley, salt, pepper, and chili flakes if desired. Mix until creamy.
  4. Toast the Buns
    • Lightly toast the buns in the same pan or oven for extra flavor and crunch.
  5. Assemble the Burger
    • Spread a generous layer of guacamole on the bottom bun.
    • Add lettuce leaves and tomato slices.
    • Place a warm shrimp patty on top.
    • Add another spoonful of guacamole or a drizzle of spicy mayo.
    • Close the bun and press gently. Serve immediately.
