Ingredients

For the Shrimp Patties

  • 350–400 g shrimp (peeled & deveined)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (15 ml)
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise (15 ml)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, optional (15 ml)
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs or crushed crackers (15–20 g)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (4 g)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (15 ml) for cooking

For the Guacamole

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • ½ lime, juiced (15 ml)
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped red onion (8 g)
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro or parsley (4 g)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Optional: tiny pinch of chili flakes

Extras for Assembling

  • 2–3 brioche or burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Optional: sliced red onion
  • Optional: spicy mayo
